I am John Keller, the lead pastor of Resurrection Lutheran Church in Woodbury, MN. My blog is one way I seek to follow our congregation’s mission statement:
Call All People to a
Vibrant Life of Faith in Christ
The Vibrant Life is to:
Trust in Jesus
Live the Call
Serve the World
| Brief BioI was born and baptized in Little Falls, MN, but moved with my family to Washington state when I was one year old. I lived there though high school, learning the joy of backpacking in the rain. I graduated from Haverford College outside of Philladelphia, PA, before marrying my wife, Carolyn, in Kansas City, MO in 1977. We moved to the Twin Cites to attend Luther Seminary. We raised three children here: Jonathan, Suzanne, and Christina. I served at St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church in Mahtomedi, MN until taking my call as lead pastor of Resurrection Lutheran Church in Woodbury, MN. Despite various injuries, I have embrace marathon running, finishing ten since 1999. | |
